About Elis
Elis is a Professional Bellydance teacher, performer and choreographer from São Paulo, Brazil, currently living in the United Kingdom. She has more than 10 years experience and has been teaching all over Brazil since year 2005. Between 2004-2006 Elis went on to study Motor Coordination (the harmonious functioning of body parts that involve movement). She has a Bachelor Degree in Dance and Movement and has been running her own dance studio in Brazil since 2006, an exclusive female environment for all levels of bellydance and ballet for adults. Elis is an inspirational teacher and since moving to the UK she has been in demand to teach workshops and perform.
Elis released 2 DVD's in partnership with Tony Mouzayek, a pioneer in Arabic music in Latin America. The first DVD "Modern Techniques for Bellydancing" was released in 2010 and the second DVD "ARMS - Exploring all the Beauty, Strength, Fluidity and Precision" was released in 2011.
